Having served as 2nd Vice President for two terms, and an Executive Board member and DC37 delegate for two prior terms, Nate has been building the experience needed to lead our Local. He has been an active Shop Steward for more than 12 years and lead our MAT Leader & Steward Committee for the past 6. With Ryan McGuire, Nate has spearheaded our unit bargaining campaign to win more of what we deserve.

Martha has been a shop steward at Bellevue for the last five years, a DC37 delegate for the last three years, and is the Chair of Local 768’s Social Work Chapter. Martha hopes to bring lessons learned from these experiences to the Local 768 Executive Board.

I am a Level 2 Public Health Advisor with DOHMH Office of School Health. I've been a DOHMH employee since 1998. I am also the Chapter Chair of the PHADV and PHASST and a Shop Steward. As Local 768 1st VP, I will give the utmost support to the local President, along with full dedication to all research and negotiations that would affect our members.

Ryan is a Labor standards investigator at the DCWP, has served coworkers there as a shop steward for seven years, and has been both 1st VP and Secretary for Local 768. With your support, he wants to build on these experiences as your new 2nd VP so that members can feel confident that their union is responsive, democratic, and boldly serves as a vehicle to fight for them.

I am a shop steward and social worker at Kings County Hospital, and I have been keen on collaborating with coworkers to strengthen awareness and action around concerns impacting them in the workplace. I’m a candidate for treasurer, thank you for your support.

LCAT @ H+H / Bellevue (she/her)

Gabrielle has been at Bellevue Hospital Center for 4 years as a Creative Arts Therapist II in adult acute inpatient psychiatry treating dual diagnoses of substance use disorders and psychosis. Gabby serves as the chair of the LCAT chapter for the Local 768. In addition to working on her unit, she has opportunities at Bellevue to provide education/training to varying departments, including OMH-required TRUST trainings to clinical providers, didactics to psychology interns & externs about creative arts therapy, and recently provided a presentation to the B-HEARD team on creative interventions to use in the field. Gabby has represented H+H alongside the LCAT Advocacy Coalition in Albany 3 years in a row to advocate for LCATs inclusion in health insurance reimbursement. She believes in city workers’ rights to fair wages, safe working environments, and hopes to amplify voices of those who feel unheard in the workforce.

Serving at H+H since 2016, Rajesh currently supports city workers as a Wellness Program Director and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist Level III. Driven by a deep commitment to the health and well-being of our entire workforce, he knows that every agency employee is essential to making our city function and deserves the support needed to make that happen. To help make public service truly sustainable, Rajesh became a certified Shop Steward, served a term as a Local 768 Delegate, and helped found the LCATs Chapter, serving as its Secretary. From testifying at City Council and in Albany, to fighting for better workplace conditions on the ground, Raj is an advocate for our members, ready to fight for a stronger, healthier, and more supportive union where every worker and family can thrive.

Emily has been a social worker in Outpatient Behavioral Health with H+H for the past 4 years and as a Shop Steward at Woodhull and Kings County Hospital. Serving as Local 768's Secretary and member of the Executive Board for the last term, I hope to continue working with Local 768 to fight for better working conditions and quality of life for our members.

I’m so excited to run for leadership of local 768. As an Associate Investigator at the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection, I dedicate my days to making sure employers follow NYC labor laws and that workers are compensated when their rights are violated. I’ve brought these skills to my work as a steward for the local and in my role as a delegate to DC37 for the past three years. Before starting at DCWP in 2020, I worked as a trainee organizer for 32BJ and on Amazon worker campaigns, and organized a union with my coworkers at a non-profit organization in 2016. My experiences in labor led me to pursue a masters degree at the CUNY School of Urban and Labor Studies, thanks in part to our DC37 tuition stipend. I hope to expand my work in 2027.

I am a social worker at Harlem Hospital. I first became involved with the union 5 years ago when my coworkers and I organized at my previous job to join DC37. I have hands on experience winning better wages, benefits, and working conditions with my coworkers through solidarity and collective action. As a member of local 768, I am excited to share my organizing experience to address issues members face at work. I am running for delegate to build a stronger union.

She is committed to standing alongside members to protect their rights, ensure their concerns are addressed, including by holding the Council to the standards that members should expect and deserve

I’m a Social Worker at Jacobi Medical Center, where I’ve spent the past eight years working in Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health. My work is rooted in compassion, equity, and the belief that every patient deserves care that honors their dignity and lived experience.

Alongside my clinical role, I serve as the Vice Chair of the Social Work Chapter, advocating for our profession and the communities we serve. I’m committed to strengthening our workforce, uplifting member voices, and pushing for policies that support both providers and patients.

I am also running to be a delegate because I believe social workers deserve strong, thoughtful representation. Our voices matter, and I’m committed to ensuring they are heard at every table where decisions are made. My goal is to show up with intention, listen deeply, and fight for meaningful change that reflects the realities of our work and the needs of our members.
